Hong Kong. So many memories to be left behind ...
I still remember 9 years ago in R1 as if it were yesterday. Hah, I even found Adler in a picture from my birthday party in kindergarten.
It's hard to believe that my time here is finally at an end. It's not just a chapter of my life that's coming to a close and an open. Can't be just that. It's a whole entire book to be rewritten.
Whenever I recall back to Hong Kong sometime in the near or far future, I know that the first thing to pop up in my head will always be HKIS. The friends I met there. How we used to stress daily over the heaps of homework ...
It all seems so insignificant now. But I'll never forget it. I know I won't. It has been too large a portion of my life, too much of what shapes the person I am today to be forgotten.
To all my friends in Hong Kong who stayed beside me and tolerated me through thick and thin, thank you so much, and I love you.
This is my last shout-out to all of you. Even if you weren't really a friend of mine you'll probably find yourself credited down there. Because you probably were a part of the memories I've created here through all the years.
I love you guys. Wish me luck in Canada. :)

Niky : Niky, Niky, Niky. Ironic how we're all leaving this same year, huh? You know I'll never forget you, even as a grey-haired grandma sitting on a rocking chair by the fireplace; and I know you'll never forget me. We've done too many things together for even some of them to be named. You're the best best friend I've had, you know that? You're almost like a sister to me. I always wanted a sister who was more responsible and sensible than me. =P Thanks for always scooping me up before I could do something stupid and fall into a mud pit. Oh, and we still have more things left to do on our lists before the summer ends and we both move away! (Yeah, be waiting for me at the Marriott! lol!) Of course we'll see each other again in a few years. That's a given. In one year if we're lucky. Don't ever drop contact with me, kay? I love you so, so much. <3
Lynette : Only a year together but we're already close as ever. Too bad it sort of has to end here. Not that we can't keep talking to each other! Thank you Lynny. I wouldn't have made it through seventh grade if not for you. There are so much brains contained in that tiny head of yours! Thanks for always laughing along with me and not making it seem like I'm just a weirdo who laughs at everything. Hehe. We've been together in most everything: all of our class-classes, the Yunnan trip, some of the World's fair, the school for the handicapped ... I actually think that aside from the fact you do your homework and I don't, we've got a lot in common with each other. =) I'll miss you to death. >_< But I promise I'll drop by Hong Kong before we die. ^___^
Jennifer H. : Yunnan trip. P.D.! Which means, uhh, painted dick, by the way. Hahaha. When have you not been quickest to whiz through a paper in math class? And then come over to my table and solve for me, lol. ;D My most affectionate friend. You know I need hugs to live. <3 You were always there with me. *sings* You're everywhere I go. =P And believe me, I appreciated it everytime. I wuv you Jennifuh. We must never cease contact! Also, even though Saskatoon is the only province in Canada no one ever comes for holiday, I'm there, so I trust that you WILL come and visit me. Absolutely will. Thanks for everythin' Jennyy. I'll always cry while thinking of you. :'(
Emily : I think this gurl has everything. The smarts and the personality. 10/10 for both of 'em, too. Now that's a rare find. Elmoooo! *cries* X_X Trust me, there is no one in the entire face of the earth that is like you. *hugs* And admit it, you liked the sexual harassment, didn't you? *poke* Hehe. I've known you for the least amount of time but still, I feel as if we've known each other forever and you're such an important memory of mine that ya made it up top o' my mem'ry list. Thank you for being so hugworthy and such a giving tree. I feel bad that I was never capable enough to help you out with much! I love my Elmo. So there you go. <3
Grace : Gwacey wacey ... You're one of a kind. I don't have another friend who's as on-style and with strong beliefs as you. I have to admit, you say we hang around a lot but there has always been a bridge between us that neither of us could cross. Differences are okay, but I think there were just too many. So now I hope you understand why I was never quite the person I am around you. Because of this, I don't think I'll ever forget you either. Thanks for your constant company though. And I love you. =)
Heidi : Well, glad to know I have a pair in everything I do. Jaehee eats, Heidi eats. Jaehee doesn't do homework, Heidi doesn't do homework. Hahaha. =P Fun times on MSN. Casey : Again, we haven't known each other for too long. But maybe just because we're both Korean we closened up fast. You're a mystery to me, you know that? You're generous but not generous, nice but not nice, and the list goes on. Not in a bad way though. You'll always be on my good side. <3 And you're freaking funny, lol. We have a lot in common with each other. But it takes some time to learn that. If we were either both staying or moving to the same places, I know our friendship would have progressed exceptionally. Let's at least keep what we have by keeping in touch, okay? <33
